otsuka is a trip planner. Your trips live on your device. There are no accounts.
Everything you write: trips, days, places, notes, your wishlist, what you marked done or skipped. It is stored locally with Apple's SwiftData. Deleting the app deletes it.
When you ask otsuka to draft a plan, the app sends our server the city, the number of days, your pace and interests, arrival and departure times, and daylight hours. The server asks an AI model for a draft and returns it. We keep request logs for 30 days to fix problems, then delete them. The app also sends a random device identifier, generated on your phone and stored in its keychain. We use it only to limit how many requests one device can make. It is not linked to you, your Apple ID, or anything else, and we do not use it for tracking or advertising.
No tracking. No ads. No selling or sharing data. No analytics SDKs.
otsuka Pro is billed by Apple through your Apple ID. We never see your payment details. Manage or cancel it in your Apple ID settings.
The AI draft is generated by a model provider (OpenRouter, which routes the request to Google's Gemini model) that receives the city and preferences above, never your notes or your trips.
